*Three Settings of a Medieval Piece.* The melody at the heart of these three pieces seems to have been one of the earliest popular songs to figure in art music, at least to judge by the archaic style of the 1st setting, which seems to belong to the first half of the fifteenth century. The tune seems to have survived through the following century, appearing in a dance setting of the beginning of the seventeenth century. For 3 voices or instruments.

1. Belle tenes moy/La triquotee
2. Alonso(?), Rolet ara la tricoton/La tricotee/Maistre Piere
3. La tricotea sa Martin

_3 x Score 4 pp._
