The Bergamasca is a traditional fast dance melody with a simple rhythm, popular in Northern Italy from the 16th to 17th Century. The original arrangement by Marco Uccellini for two violins and bass continuo was transposed by Sylvia Corinna Rosin for two alto recorders and one bass.
