The instrument has a range of over 2 chromatic octaves, C2- D4.

Through a patented right, the instrument is the most compact subgreatbass recorder worldwide.

With the specially constructed keys, the instrument has a smaller fingering span than that of the tenor recorder, making this unique design easier for players with small hands. Even the individual automatic thumb keys allow for easier playing of harmonics on this instrument.

 The instrument is overall close to 6 foot, 5 inches in length. The inner bore is about 7 foot, 6½ inches long.
