Antonio Vivaldi (1678 - 1741) was an Italian composer, virtuoso violinist and impresario of Baroque music. 

Alex Ayre was a British recorder teacher and performer who arranged over 500 pieces, of mainly English Renaissance and Baroque music, for recorder ensembles. 

Concerto a`7, Op 3, No 7 in F (written for 4 Trebles - 2 Tenors - Bass) is from L'estro armonico. These concertos belong to the concerto a 7 format, that is: for each concerto there are seven independent parts. L'estro armonico pioneered orchestral unisono in concerto movements.
