Session 1: Technique class - We will not necessarily play all the notes of all the set pieces. We will use parts of these works to identify and practice various techniques as required by the class. We do not expect you to have mastered all the notes by the course.

We will spend of time in the class talking about the music and playing bits and pieces of various works. It will be most beneficial if you can be slightly familiar with the following pieces:
Preludes, Chacon’s, Divisions and Cibells
- Please look at numbers 1, 2, 4, 6, 10, 13, 16
Leichte Duette - Gottfried Finger
- Please look at Sonata 11
