From a treatise published in Frankfurt in 1615, the first two pieces are similar to Fantasias, the third more madrigalesque in character using the distinctive texture of 2 high parts and a substantially lower one. Parts are Superius, Tenor and Basse. Tenor part is in both treble and tenor clefs. Alternative parts are provided for the third piece which is transposed down a fifth. If using treble on the top line, it is read up the octave.
