Lizards is written for recorder trio made up of Treble - Tenor - Bass. (ATB Trio)

Composer Lance Eccles says: 'Lizards begins with a Goanna Climbing a Tree. The 4/4 bars often scan into 3+3+2 quavers to express the animal’s uneven gait as it climbs. Blue-tongue Lizard in the Sun begins torpidly, but as it warms up it gathers more momentum. Frilled Lizard Rondo depicts the lizard running back and forth on the road, confronting many dangers.

It consists of 3 parts as follows:

1. Goanna Climbing a Tree

2. Blue-tongue Lizard in the Sun

3. Frilled Lizard Rondo

Score: 7 pages. 3 parts @ 3 pages ea.
