Originally written for two Csakans.

Ernst Kraher played the oboe in the court orchestra of Vienna as well as performing solo concerts on the Csakan, the variant of the recorder that was popular in nineteenth century Austria. These duets give recorder players the opportunity to play a wide range of 19th century styles; the music suits recorders well, although here the 6th duet is also printed up a tone to avoid low Ebs in the second part. Any size of recorder can e used, but trebles needs to be played reading descant fingering.

Score only: 25 pages.
