Contemporary recorder solo for alto recorder. Notes in English, translation below.

As the title suggests, "Catching Moments" wants to make snapshots audible, which ones
can be divided into three sections. The rhythmic style should be designed freely and
requires a keen sense of tension.

Isaac Makhdoomi (*1984) comes from an Indian-Swiss family and through his musical parents came into contact with music from a wide variety of genres at an early age.
From 2005 to 2012 he studied recorder at the Zurich University of the Arts in the recorder classes of Kees Boeke and Maurice Steger. Isaac Makhdoomi has been teaching recorder for many years, performs regularly in concerts and composes pieces for recorder in various instrumentations. In 2012 Isaac Makhdoomi participated in a recording of Bach's Brandenburg Concertos with the Brandenburg State Orchestra conducted by Howard Griffiths. In 2014 the album "Changing Moments" was released with original compositions for recorder and piano by and with Isaac Makhdoomi and Andreas Svarc. Isaac Makhdoomi is a two-time winner of the Migros Culture Percentage and the Dienemann Competition.
